Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born August 20 1974 Aviano Italy) American actress, especially noted for her critically-acclaimed portrayals of naive and charming characters. Adams grew as the seventh child of seven living in Castle Rock Colorado. The actress began acting and dancing professionally at the end of the 90s. She was part of Boulder Dinner Theatre, and later at the Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she performed at a regional theater where her character in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a comedy documentary that focused on beauty magazines. Following her successful screen debut where she played an obnoxious but friendly contestant, Janet relocating from Minnesota to Los Angeles where she began a professional acting career. From June 1951 until September 22, 1962 she was wed with actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh, discovered through the actress Norma Shearer Leigh signed a contract with MGM to launch her film career actor in the latter half of the 40s. Through the years that followed her appearances in many well-known films like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), and Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
